Pemaquid Point in Bristol Maine (location of the Pemaquid Lighthouse) is a special place for me. I've been painting at this location off and on for over 20 years. The rocks and water here are always a painting challenge. Available paintings can be purchased on my website: Kathleen Daughan Fine Art.

The sea roses are so beautiful at Pemaquid in the spring.
Notecards with images of my paintings of Pemaquid are available at The Sea Gull Shop just a short step from the lighthouse. They are also available in my Etsy shop on the internet. See link below.
The landscape is my primary studio so long as the weather allows. When it doesn't I enjoy painting still life and memory pieces in my studio at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Mass. I'm lucky enough to have opportunites to paint in northern California in addition to my work in Maine and New Hampshire. I work in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel depending. I am also a paper maker and sometimes work with paper pulp as a medium. I am a member of Plein Air Painters of Maine and N.H. Plein Air Painters.
